We plan to take a group of students (predominantly international students) that have never been up Table Mountain so that they may share in the beauty that we as Capetonians get to share in everyday.
VCCT POKER SERIES BEGINS

We will be setting up tables for the week on campus to battle it out to see who is the VC Poker Champion. The idea is that all the buy in cash will be donated towards a charity and that the winners will win sponsored prizes and get to be a part of the hand over. We look forward to seeing the result of this tournament and hope that it will be the beginning of many future on campus tournaments.

MERIDIAN HOUR: DISABLED GAMES, MUAY THAI PROMO & SPORTLIFE AWARENESS EVENT 14 September 2011 12:00 – 13:00 On Campus
It is Disability month and we want to ensure that our students are getting involved with as many sporting activities as they can on campus. We want them to find gratitude for the fact that they are able and also be cognisant of the many people that wish they could involve themselves in activities but due to disability cannot. The Sportlife captains will be doing a big promo with the Sport Management 1st year students to promote the importance and positives of lifestyle sports. We will be having a Muay Thai fighting demonstration and then we will have a few special games for prizes- each event will remove 1 of the participants 5 senses and they must try to win with the use of only 4.
